I would like to thank you for looking at the Scarlett Construction Blog. We try to put good content on this blog and look to get feedback from trade professionals and DIYers alike. Scarlett Construction is composed of several professionals from various areas of the construction world brought together due to a commitment to critical thinking and a desire for constant learning. Located in Saint Louis, Missouri and specializing in high-end remodeling and historic tax-credit restoration, problem solving is the most comprehensive definition of what we do.
So why tell the world all the secrets? We all started as Do-It-Yourselfers at some point, you never lose your bond to that part of yourself. I can remember endless frustrations trying to find information or advice on projects I had tackled only to find obstacles to accessing the info or being told I couldn’t do it and should hire a professional. I then decided to become a professional. Now that I have access to the information and training, I am paying homage to Karma and paying it backward. I also have asked Joe and Simon that are my closest advisors to make posts as well. I think you will find their knowledge to be as vast and helpful as I do on a daily basis.
I welcome comments but ask that they are kept within the boundaries of good taste (of course). I also post this blog on the hope that there will always be people who hire professionals and pay for their continuing education, just being honest.
