This project was started in summer 2007. Although a long project in scope, it has been a fantastic way to insert very modern amenities and luxuries into a century-old home. Dual series Rinnai Tankless gas water heaters, a Vanguard Manabloc water distribution system, a Beam Utraquiet whole house vacuum system, underfloor hot water radiant heating combined with histori radiators in a hybrid hot-water heating system, zoned Heil A/C systems with electric heat backup (for chilly but not cold days), Cat5e/RG6 Leviton Structured Media wiring with a media main control, DSC Hybrid Powerseries alarm system, 2 multi-head showers, and a lot more of updates. Plus the amenities that a large Victorian home should have like; oak and maple hardwood floors, oak/birch/beech/poplar doors, chandeliers, and some-reclaimed some-remilled grand oak woodwork throughout.
